Monasingh Memorial Martials Arts Tournament a success

– to be held annually

The inaugural Monasingh Memorial Martial Arts Tournament, recently hosted by the White Tiger Martial Arts Academy (WTMMA) at the New Amsterdam Town Hall in Region Six, has been considered a success.
Held to commemorate the life of the late grandmaster Michael Stephen Monasingh, who passed away in April 2017, the White Tiger Martial Arts Academy has now planned to make this tournament an annual event.
The late grandmaster’s daughter, Stephanie Monasingh, there to share with those present some fond memories of her dad, declared how elated she was to support the tournament.
The WTMMA had extended invitations to several martial arts schools in Guyana, and same was accepted by Black Hawks Martial Arts Management Network Association and Best of the Best Martial Arts Motivators Association from Georgetown. The tournament commenced with one minute of silence to honour
