Two knife-toting bandits have executed a daring robbery on a medical student at Fifth Street Alberttown, Georgetown in relieving 22-year-old Siva Prakash of $200,000 in cash and one Redmi Note 10 cellphone.
Police have said that the robbery occurred on Wednesday at about 21:00h, when Prakash, of East Street Georgetown, and one of his friends were walking on Fifth Street, Alberttown. The two bandits, who were on a blue motorcycle, approached them from behind and proceeded at knifepoint to rob Prakash of the items mentioned.
Having dismounted the motorcycle to commit this robbery, the suspects made good their escape on the motorcycle.
A report was made, and an investigation is underway.
