Motorcyclist crashes into car after jumping traffic light

A motorcyclist who jumped the traffic light at the intersection of Hunter Street and the East Bank Highway on Wednesday evening was seriously injured after he collided with a car.
Eyewitnesses recounted the terrifying moment, saying that the speeding motorcyclist careened into the path of the car, driven by a woman, who had the green light. The force of the collision caused the man to land several feet away from the point of impact.
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) rushed to the scene and transported him to the Georgetown Public Hospital.
