Motorcyclist hospitalised after Hampton Court collision

A motorcyclist was rushed late Thursday night to the Suddie Public Hospital in Region Two, (Pomeroon-Supenaam) after he was involved in a collision on the Hampton Court Public Road. The incident occurred around 19:00 hours.

According to information reaching this publication, both drivers were heading in opposite directions when they collided; the motorcyclist was catapulted into a nearby trench.

While details are sketchy, information revealed that the motorcyclist was thrown several feet from the accident scene. Upon hearing the loud impact, residents immediately rushed to the scene where the motorcyclist, Suresh (only name given) was picked up in an unconscious state.

Meanwhile driver of the car, Tony (only name given) sustained minor cuts about. His vehicle was taken to a gas station at Hampton Court, while he was taken to the Anna Regina Police Station and is assisting with investigations.

Further information revealed that the motorcyclist went to visit his sister in Hampton Court when he got into the accident.

Police are continuing investigations.
