With this particular competition last being held in 2019, the 6th annual Guyana Fitness Games and Expo is taking over the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH) today, and fitness enthusiasts from across Guyana and further afield would now have opportunity to showcase their skills.
The event will feature both Scaled and RX athletes, and according to Organizer Jordana Ramsay-Gonsalves, athletes are eager to participate. Speaking exclusively with Guyana Times Sport, Ramsay- Gonsalves shared her excitement at the event’s return and the eagerness of athletes to get on board.
“We are excited about it because it seems all the fitness fanatics were working out during COVID; we know they were really going at it hard during that period. So, we’re excited to see all the people that came in to register, we didn’t expect such a big turnout, such a big volume of participants for this year,” she disclosed.
