Must I risk my life to get justice?

Dear Editor,
With much fanfare this Government boasts about spending money to make the 911 emergency calls centre better. On Tuesday at 15:39h (3:39pm) I called to report that someone picking my cherries from my tree and when I confronted the person, he threatens to chop me. The person answering the emergency call told me I need to go to the nearest Police station and make a report. When I ask her how can I when the man is still outside, she told me to hold on. After a while I don’t know if the call was transferrd but someone else greeted me and query my report. Again I was advised the same and when I pointed out my dilemma, the phone was cut off. So must I risk my life to get justice?

Sincerely,
Sahadeo Bates
