Dead: Keron Nicholson

Shariff, a father of one, has thus thrown himself at the mercy of the court, and will be sentenced on November 9. He is being represented by Attorney-at-Law Surihya Sabsook, while State Counsel Muntaz Ali is prosecuting in the matter.
It was reported that on March 8, 2020, two men who are known to each other – Donald Shariff and Keron Nicholson — were engaged in a heated argument that escalated into an altercation. Nicholson had reportedly left the scene, and was heading to where he lived in Angoy’s Avenue, New Amsterdam, Region Six (East Berbice-Corentyne) when he was attacked by Shariff and beaten with a piece of wood.

Shariff dealt Nicholson a blow to his head, and after this first hit, Nicholson fell face down onto the road, but Shariff continued to assault him.
The injured Nicholson was initially taken to the New Amsterdam Hospital, but was later transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on March 17, 2020.
Shariff had gone into hiding after this incident of violence, but was eventually arrested in Mahdia. Prior to his incarceration, this confessed killer resided at Angoy’s Avenue.
