NAACIE head inadvertently left off National Awardees list
General Secretary of the National Association of Agricultural Commercial and Industrial Employees (NAACIE) Union Kenneth Joseph was accidentally left off the list of National Awardees which was issued Wednesday last.
This is according to an advertisement published in the local dailies by the Ministry of the Presidency.
The notice states that the NAACIE Head will be invested with the insignia of the Golden Arrow of Achievement at a ceremony sometime later this year.
President David Granger awarded individuals for outstanding performances at the 50th Independence Anniversary celebrations at D’Urban Park on Wednesday last.
Some awardees included: Speaker of the National Assembly Barton Scotland, Director General in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Audrey Waddel, Former Vice Chancellor of the University of Guyana Harold Lutchman, Justice Yonette Cummings-Edwards, Former Opposition Leader Robert Corbin, among others.
