NALICO/NAFICO Insurance Company has reached out to the victim of the devastating Pike Street, Kitty fire, which occurred on March 7, by the way of monetary donations.

The donations were made behind the backdrop that none of the four houses that were destroyed were insured and as such, making it more difficult to rebuild.
CEO of NAFICO, Basil Mahadeo, and a management team met with the families and shared their sadness and grief at the occurrence of such an unfortunate incident.
Mahadeo also stated that this effort from NAFICO is a way of showing the public that we are proud to assist them even when they have no insurance to compensate in times of loss.
Each family was presented with a cheque with an amount to assist them in rebuilding their home. Mahadeo stated that once again, the insurance company stays true to its motto “We’re your friends for life”.
