More than five persons were on Friday afternoon fortunate to walk away with their lives after two allegedly speeding vehicles collided before toppling and ending in a nearby trench at Patentia, West Bank Demerara.
The drivers were each hurrying their vehicles in opposite directions at about 13:00h when the near disaster occurred. Public-spirited persons assisted in pulling those inside of the vehicles to safety. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured in this accident.
