National Draughts tourney set for December 17

The Guyana Draughts Association (GDA) will be holding their 4th annual tournament at the National Gymnasium on December 17; with five hampers up for grabs.
The brainchild of GDA President, Jiaram, stated that the match will be contested on 64 square boards with players being informed of the change from the previously used 100 square format.
Games will be played on a six round Swiss System with the five hampers going to the top five finishers.
Draught players countrywide are eligible to participate with registration being $500. per player starting from 10:00h while the tourney gets underway from 10:30h.
