Guyana’s National Under-14 Boys’ team, who, last week, returned from the Caribbean Football Union’s (CFU) U14 Boys’ Challenge series with the Tier II Championships trophy, were on Saturday night honoured by the Guyana Football Federation (GFF).
The simple ceremony saw each player and staff member being felicitated and presented with commemorative plaques by members of the GFF’s executive body, including President Wayne Forde and General Secretary Pushpargha Chattopadhyay.
The U14 Junior Jags pulled off a 4-2 victory on penalties against Suriname after a 1-1 draw after regulation time on Sunday last to win the CFU Tier II Championship.
