New Caribbean Trade Center to serve as revolutionary hub for business innovation, partnership

The new Caribbean Trade Center

ActionINVEST Caribbean Incorporated on Friday evening introduced its revolutionary Caribbean Trade Center, which aims to serve as a cornerstone for business innovation and partnership across the Caribbean.
Nestled in Mc Doom, Greater Georgetown, the Caribbean Trade Center is said to be more than a physical space; it offers a full-suite solution for businesses of all sizes aiming to scale, innovate, and integrate within the dynamic Caribbean market.
CTC features fully furnished office spaces, meeting and conference rooms, coworking spaces, business support services, networking opportunities, and training facilities. It aspires to catalyse economic transformation in the Caribbean, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders in a vibrant community committed to building a more prosperous Caribbean.
Meanwhile, ACI also unveiled the fifth edition of the Who’s Who in Guyana Business, designed for organisations seeking to invest in strategic alliances within Guyana. The directory is meticulously organised by economic sectors, offering a tailored layout of company profiles, contact information, and photographs of key players within their organisations, including directors, senior executives, and management.
“This publication is more than a directory; it’s a guiding light for investors, a roadmap to strategic collaborations, and a comprehensive overview of Guyana’s vibrant business landscape. Over 1000 companies and organisations across 14 key sectors are showcased, testifying to the diversity and dynamism of the Guyanese economy,” ACI outlined.
This new trade centre comes on the backdrop of larger preparations to establish a World Trade Centre (WTC) in Guyana – the first in the Caribbean Community (Caricom) region. In fact, work is moving apace for a formal opening scheduled for February 2024. Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) acquired the licence earlier this year to set up the facility in Georgetown.
The local beverage giant had revealed that it would be transforming its building on High Street into the WTC, which will provide a range of opportunities for local businesses and organisations to enhance their networking capabilities globally. Since then, work has commenced on the interior redesign of the building.
The World Trade Center Association stimulates trade and investment opportunities for commercial property developers, economic development agencies, and international businesses looking to connect globally and prosper locally.
There are over 320 World Trade Centres in more than 100 countries on every continent globally.
The Association serves as an “international ecosystem” of global connections, iconic properties, and integrated trade services under the umbrella of a prestigious brand.
