NEW GPC INC on Thursday evening received the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) award for innovation at its 127th Gala Dinner and Awards ceremony.
NEW GPC was presented with the award for innovation for its breakthrough achievements in technology, processes, marketing campaigns and development. GCCI President Vishnu Doerga stated that the Chamber is happy to recognise and celebrate with the winning companies that excelled for 2016.

satisfaction and company or product image.
Meanwhile, Doerga stated that the GCCI has placed a lot of emphasis on developing their capacity but they are now shifting focus ever so slightly to develop infrastructure. “We are developing proposals for funding for the re-building of our secretariat to double the available space to better serve our membership and wider Private Sector as mandated in our Constitution,” he said.
Doerga stated that this year, they are set to achieve a record financial surplus which will be channelled into the development of the building, adding that their aim is to create a condusive environment.
He stated that the GCCI has a total of 45 companies as members while several remain lined up in December. Last year the GCCI had only 32 businesses on their membership list.
