LTW Schools Basketball Competiton…
There were wins for Linden Technical Institute (LTI) and New Silvercity Secondary, as action in the Linden Town Week Inter Schools Basketball championship continued at the Mackenzie High School court on Monday.
LTI defeated Linden Foundation Secondary 33-28 while New Silvercity Secondary, who rebounded from their first game loss, won 31-14 against Wisburg Secondary.
Leading the New Silvercity Secondary to the win was Delroy Belle with 18 points.
The other game ended with Linden Technical Institute coming from a 15-14 half time lead to eventually seal the deal as Stephon Duncan top scored with 18 points. Emmanuel Larose netted five for Linden Foundation Secondary.
The tournament continues on next Monday with Wisburg Secondary facing Christianburg Secondary and LTI battling against Mackenzie High School to decide the semifinalists.
