Niece stumbles upon decomposing body of 75-year-old uncle

The body of a 75-year-old businessman of Toucan Drive, Mackenzie, Linden, was found in a decomposed state, Police said on Tuesday.
Dead is Vincent Harry.

Reports are that the man’s niece, Patsy Roberts, went to his residence on Monday at about 11:15h, and on arrival there, the woman said that she observed Harry’s body lying motionlessly on his bed, in an advanced state of decomposition.
Upon making the discovery, the Police were summoned to the scene, and the body was examined by the ranks.
The body is presently at the mortuary awaiting a post-mortem examination.
This is the second pensioner’s body that has been found within a matter of two days.
On Saturday, the decomposing body of a pensioner was found in his Glasgow Housing Scheme, East Bank Berbice home.
That pensioner was identified as Henry Lewis, also 75.
Reports are that neighbours, after not seeing Lewis around as usual and smelling a foul scent emanating from his house, had decided to summon the Police on Saturday.
When the cops arrived and checked the house, Lewis’s body was found on his bed in an advanced state of decomposition.
The body is presently at Bailey’s Funeral Parlour awaiting a post-mortem examination, and an investigation has been launched. (G9)
