No arrest made in Ogle bar robbery

As investigations continue into the brazen robbery committed on the Ogle Grill and Bar by several armed men, Police are yet to make an arrest.

A senior Police rank told Guyana Times that while they are in possession of the surveillance footage, it is presently being reviewed with the intention of getting a clearer view of the perpetrators.

“Once they are identifiable, the Police will act accordingly,” he noted. At about 00:30h on Wednesday morning, three armed men stormed the establishment and ordered the patrons to the ground as they turned their attention to the manager of the business, owned by Lloyd Singh.

The manager was gun butted and relived of an undisclosed sum of cash, mobile phone and other valuables. The manager sustained minor injuries. As the men were leaving the business place, they took away mobile phones, cash and other valuables from the patrons. The Police are continuing their investigations.
