“No Retreat, No Surrender” The ‘baddest’ and most versatile deejays and selectors in Berbice are preparing to participate in what has already been deemed in certain circles to be one of the most slaughtering deejay face-offs ever to be held in the Ancient County. 
Called “No Retreat, No Surrender”, the competition will see the winner enjoying bragging rights for a year besides getting the winner’s trophy and $100,000 in cash. The action is slated to be held on April 1 at the Sheer’s Night Club in New Amsterdam.
Those slated to compete are DJ Alkapone, DJ Unruly, DJ Dauren, DJ Von Hype and Shrimpy, DJ Hotskull, DJ Versatile, DJ Delly Ranks and Selector Thunda. The winner of this competition would automatically be qualified for the “Art of War” 2017 clash, which will be held in Georgetown.
Come April 1, patrons will be entertained by some early juggling from High Range Sounds, with Guess Deejays Dellon and Charlie. No Retreat, No Surrender will be emceed by David Hype. Tickets for the event cost $1000 and are available at Candy Shop, Pitt Street, New Amsterdam.
