Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) Prosecutor, Konyo Sandiford, in presenting the facts to the court, relayed that on Sunday, September 10, 2017, at around 06:00h, CANU ranks swooped down on the home of the accused where a search was conducted on the premises which led to the discovery of the illicit substance contained in three carton boxes and two plastic barrels.
According to Prosecutor Sandiford, Pyle allegedly confessed to ownership of the drug, and disclosed that someone living “over the river” gave him the said narcotics.
Pyle begged for the court’s leniency and explained that he is a single father of seven and grandfather to five.
Magistrate Latchman after a few moments of consideration handed down the court’s ruling to the remorseful defendant in the prisoner’s docks.

Sources at CANU have opined that there were more drugs on the property, but they may have been moved.
