Thirty-year-old Andrew Kenneth of Port Kaituma, North West District is, along with a driver from Sans Souci, Wakenaam, expected to be charged on Tuesday after four parcels of cocaine were found in the car in which they were travelling.
According to information received, the men were on Thursday travelling from Charity in hire car HB 5809, which was stopped and searched at a road block exercise at Aurora Village.
During that search, police ranks unearthed a whitish substance suspected to be cocaine in a black suitcase in the vehicle.
When questioned, Kenneth claimed ownership of the suitcase.
The men were taken to the Aurora police station, and the substance, when weighed, amounted to 11 pounds.
Investigations are ongoing.
