National Swimmer Omar Adams clocked a time of 2:30.87 to place third in the Open 200M Butterfly at the Aquatic Centre Invitational in Barbados on Saturday.
The Dorado Speed Swim Club Swimmer, who is representing the Guyana Amateur Association (GASA) was outdone by the speed of 15-year old Luis-Sebastian Weekes who clocked a time of 2:17.44 to win the race while second place went to Nkosi Dunwood in time of 2:27.19.
The event which is an approved Qualifier for the Olympic Games, Rio- Brazil in August of this year, has another Guyanese in Andrew Flower attending on behalf of his local club Dolphin Swim Club.
