P and P Insurance Brokers makes a contribution to Project

“CRICKET GEARS FOR YOUNG AND PROMISING CRICKETERS IN GUYANA”

P and P Insurance Brokers is the latest Company to provide support for project “Cricket Gears for Young and Promising Cricketers in Guyana”. The popular Insurance Brokers join hands with Former Berbice Senior Allrounder and recently appointed Guyana Cricket Board Technocrat, Anil Beharry and Kishan Das of the USA in their drive to provide Cricket gears for young talented cricketers in Guyana who need assistance. The project which was conceptualize recently, will seek new and used cricket gears which will will then be distributed free of cost.
Option Group and West Indian Sports Complex are the two other companies on board so far.

Two junior cricket bats were donated. Total gears collected so far; seven pairs of batting pads, nice bats, three batting gloves and one cricket bag.
Chief Executive Officer of P and P Bish Panday, a former long serving secretary of Guyana Cricket Board, lauded the initiative and said that he is happy to be part of it. He added that he is fully aware of the many talents lost due to lack of affordability to purchase cricket gears and is also happy that it is a National exercise. He pledged to continue his support whenever necessary. Beharry in reply thanked him and his company for coming on board.
Talent spotting will be done across Guyana along with guidance from club leaders to identify the players. Players must be in school and discipline. Players above school age will also be considered.
