Part of the ongoing action in the GABA league

In the first matchup of the night, Pacesetters upset the Plaisance Guardians 70-54. Scoring for the Pacesetters were Nathan Saul, who led with 12; T. Daly, who chipped in with 11 points; and Michael Turner, who played the supporting role with 10.

For the Guardians, the in-form Nikkolai Smith scored 12 points, and was ably supported by Malcolm Dundar with 10. No other player made it to double figures.

Gunning for a spot in the quarterfinals, the Pacesetters led the entire game.

The match that headlined the evening took an unexpected turn, as the Pacesetters managed to defeat one of the tougher teams of the league with ease in the Under-23 division.
Facing the UG Trojans, the Pacesetters won 56-42.
Top-scoring for the Pacesetters was C. Liverpool with 10, supported by every other member of his team; thus was the low-scoring matchup won.

Despite Trojans Damani Thomas’s 13, Pacesetters still managed to keep the opposition at bay for the win.

The action continues this evening with the Guardians facing the Vikings and the Trojans clashing with the Eagles in the Second and First Divisions respectively.
