Packed cricket schedule set for Berbice this weekend
The hectic cricket season in Berbice will continue on Saturday March 20 and Sunday March 21 with a host of matches across the county.
These matches are: Jafferally T20 semi-final; Troy Halley Grassroots Cup; the Kevin Sinclair U-17 countywide tournament; T&R Construction/ Premium Asphalt T20 final; and the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB)/France Electrical 40-over for teams in Berbice River Cricket Association.
Whim celebrating
The fixtures are as follows Jafferally 20/20 semi-final: Blairmont vs D’Edward on Saturday. Troy Halley Grassroots Cup on Sunday at Bush Lot Ground, WCB. Teams involved are: D’ Edward, Achievers, Bush Lot United and Bush Lot Rising Stars
Kevin Sinclair Under 17 countywide: on Saturday March 20 and Sunday March 21 as per fixture. The T&R Construction /Premium Asphalt 20/20 Finals between Rose Hall Town Tigers and Chesney at the Area H Ground from 13:00h.
The BCB/France Electrical 40 overs for Berbice River Cricket Association set for Sunday March 21. Round 1 will feature Sand Hills CC vs Wiruni at Sandhills CG; Ebini CC Bye. Round 2 will bowl off on Sunday March 28. Round 2 involves Sandhills vs Ebini CC at Sandhills CG, Wiruni CC- Bye
Team Port Mourant
Then, round 3 will bowl off on Sunday April 4, 2021. It will see Wiruni CC vs Ebini CC at Wirni CG, Sandhills CC- Bye. On Sunday April 21, Round 4 will see the first place team vs second place team, with the Finals at Rose Hall Town Area H Ground or Albion Cricket Ground.
Meanwhile, the BCB/Raffik Construction 20/20 Second Division Tournament is set to bowl off on March 28.
