Pan & Soca to ignite Carnival finale today at Kingston beachfront

Some may think that as Guyana Carnival winds down to a close, the energy will begin to cool off. However, that is far from the case, as the vibes continue to heat up with Kunjaz Group, in association with Republic Bank, proudly announcing Pan & Soca, the electrifying concert experience set to serve as the grand finale of this year’s Carnival season. Taking place today at Kingston Beachfront, gates will open at 16:00h for what promises to be an unforgettable evening under the stars.

Pan & Soca is a celebration of Caribbean musical heritage at its finest. As the sun sets over the Georgetown waterfront, the sound of steelpan music will fill the air in a fitting tribute to the culture, energy, and spirit that have defined Guyana Carnival 2026. The timing of the event could not be more poignant. On May 26, 2026, Guyana proudly marks its 60th Independence Anniversary, a Diamond Jubilee that calls for reflection, pride, and jubilation in equal measure.
As the Golden Arrowhead continues to fly high in its diamond year, Pan & Soca steps in as the perfect cultural sequel to the nation’s birthday, honouring Guyana’s identity, its people, and the music that has long been the heartbeat of the Caribbean. Being served as independence joy extended. Leading the charge is none other than Nadia Batson, Soca queen, powerhouse performer, and one of the Caribbean’s most beloved artists. Known for her commanding stage presence and catalogue of hit songs, Batson’s appearance at Pan & Soca promises to deliver a show-stopping performance that will leave audiences on their feet from start to finish.
Joining Nadia Batson on the night is a line-up showcasing some of Guyana’s finest musical talent, including Nekeita, Carlvin Burnett, Samuel Medas, Omaiah Hall, Vinel Hinds, and OKC, among others. Filling out the steelpan lineup are reigning Panorama champions Kunjaz Steel Orchestra, Guyana Police Force (GPF) Steel Band, Parkside Steel Orchestra, Buxton Pride Steel Band and Joshua Regrello from Trinidad and Tobago. Patrons can choose from two ticket tiers: General Admission at $3000 and Elevated VIP at $10,000. Tickets can be secured through HJ Box Office.
