Pele’s poor performance caused by internal issues – Coach

Pele Football Club who sits sixth on the Stag Elite League points table is finding it hard to please their fan base with their current poor performance in the second leg of the league.
Finishing second place in the first leg of the League, fans had the expectation of the club being in the upper echelon of the league.
Coach of the Pele Football Club, Justin Bentick, has classified, his team’s performance as being a “mental issue” since his players are not comfortable with their current situation.
Bentick who is on leave due to internal reasons for the last couple of months disclosed the team was having internal issues that were settled but not to the players satisfaction. He added his team is currently confused.
Bentick is expected to resume work shortly. Cecil Jacques who is currently coaching Pele’s team when contacted refused to comment on the issue.
Star player Gregory “Jackie Chan” Richardson who would have led his team to countless victories is currently playing poorly in the second leg which has translated to field of play as evident by their lack of wins.
This has prompted the suspicion that Pele is a one man show with Bentick defending “Jackie Chan”, “It is a mental issue that caused the corruption that we are trying to get resolved as soon as possible”.
Bentick highlighted his team discomfort is mainly associated with changes that involved governing the club.
This football club has been experiencing internal issues since the beginning of the year that was published by this newspaper earlier in this year.
Nevertheless, Bentick is aiming for his team to be victorious in their remaining games that could place them in the top four to still capture the title along with the prize. The football team is currently working on restoring their pride and pleasing their fans again according to Bentick.
Pele is expected to have an encounter with the Guyana Defense Force (GDf) Football Club on April 15.
GDF is currently seven points ahead of Pele on the leagues table. Pele will be looking to have five out of six victories to have any chance of finishing fourth in the tournament.
