Sixty-eight-year-old Jagdeo Sukhdeo, a father of two from Uitvlugt, Region Three, on Sunday received the keys to a new home through the Men on Mission (MoM) initiative.
Jagdeo Sukdeo presented with the symbolic key in front of his new home
Minister Deodat Indar and members of MoM presented the home to Sukhdeo, whose wife passed away. He is currently in the care of one of his daughters.
The 68-yr-old worked as a bartender for 20 years, then a pool attendant and waiter.
It was at his latter job that he suffered an injury that has since affected his mobility.
Sukhdeo expressed his gratitude to MoM for coming to his assistance.
MoM is the brainchild of President Dr Irfaan Ali.
