The Port Mourant Community Centre ground, Corentyne, Berbice, will definitely come alive on November 4, when the Pepsi Concert 2016 is held. Since the announcement, the Ancient County is preparing itself for what can be deemed the biggest concern there for the year.
Apart from Clash of the Titans and others, the Pepsi Concert will be off the hook, especially with the lineup that is slated to perform. The lineup includes former International Chutney King, “Ravi B” and the entire Karma Band, including “Nesha B” and some of the best on the drums and keyboard.
In addition, Chutney Queen “Drupattie” is part of the cast and is well known for her performances that will have patrons begging for more. Also known for her sensual moves and melodious voice, Sally Sagram will be there to entertain, mix and mingle.
Rounding off the performances is no other than upcoming chutney star, “Rooplall G” out of Trinidad and Tobago, who is also known for his versatility. All the artistes have recently released new hits and without a doubt, they will give patrons their money’s worth. Berbicians will also have an additional treat on the night of November 5, since popular television personality Joel Gansham will host the show.
However, those desirous of being a part of the concert are asked to get their invitations at the earliest opportunity. Tickets will not be on sale but rather Pepsi drinkers can purchase any case of 1 litre or 2 litres of the beverage and instantly win themselves an invitation.
The offer is only extended to Berbice. As a matter of fact, 87 stores in Berbice have the promotion running and it will end on the day of the concert. There will also be other on the spot promotions in and around the Ancient Country leading up to the show.
