This announcement came after Harvey, who cut a lone figure in court, related that the witnesses had not contacted him, and as far as he knew, one was out of the jurisdiction.
The accused was advised to inform his trial lawyer, Lesley Sobers, of this development while continuing his effort to attempt to contact the witnesses.
Kester Harvey first appeared before Magistrate Faith McGusty at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court in late 2016 to answer to a charge of fraudulently converting $3 million to his own benefit.
He was granted $250,000 bail after he pleaded not guilty to the charge, which stated that between October 1 and 31, 2016, at Georgetown, he, being entrusted by Pat Isaacs with $3 million cash to deposit same into Citizens Bank account #218791074, fraudulently converted the money to his own use and benefit.
The former Bank Manager returns to court on July 4.
