Another domestic carrier on Tuesday morning crashed moments after the pilot took off from the Eteringbang airstrip in the Cuyuni-Mazaruni region. This accident occurred less than a month after another crashed at the same area resulting in the dead of a pilot.
On Tuesday, the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority identified the plane as a Wing’s Aviation single-engine Cessna aircraft. Reports are that the pilot Dominique Waddell escaped without life-threatening injuries.
An investigation has been launched.
