The prime minister underscored that this initiative is in harmony with the government’s vision of creating a prosperous society for all citizens of Guyana. This approach ensures that everyone can participate in the nation’s economic advancement, regardless of their geographic location or background.
“Every citizen should get registered, look out for the announcements and follow the steps to benefit from the cash grant,” he encouraged.
The initiative will be implemented in two phases. Phase one is the registration phase, during which individuals must register at designated sites. Technical teams will capture the necessary data using specialised devices. Registration details will be published for each community, including dates, times, and locations.
Phase two involves the verification and distribution of the grant. Once the verification process is completed, distribution schedules will be published for communities throughout Guyana.
