Police issue wanted bulletins for fraud, attempted murder suspects

The Guyana Police Force (GPF) on Friday issued wanted bulletins for two men in relation to the offences of conspiracy to defraud and attempted murder.
Wanted are Jermaine Encomo Richmond, 44, of Lot 34 Third Street, Alberttown, Georgetown, and Marcio Magalhaes Santos, 32, of Boa Vista Brazil, Balamani Backdam, Region Seven (Cuyuni-Mazaruni)

Wanted: Marcio Magalhaes Santos

Richmond is wanted for questioning in relation to conspiracy to defraud the State of Guyana between March 1, 2017, and March 31, 2020. Santos is wanted by the police for questioning in relation to an attempted murder committed on Vivian Lacruz on November 3.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Richmond is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 227-2128, 225-6940, 226-9122, 227-1149, 911 or the nearest police station. Also, anyone who may have knowledge of the whereabouts of Santos is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 777-5007, 777-4007, 911 or the nearest police station.
On November 4, Police reported that an Amerindian man, who has not been identified, along with a miner, Vivian Lacruz, of Lethem, Region Nine (Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo), were consuming alcohol at a shop at Balamani Backdam when an argument erupted.

Reports are Santos whipped out a knife and dealt both men several stabs about their bodies. He then made good his escape.
The victims were subsequently taken to the Bartica Hospital by public-spirited citizens where the Amerindian man was pronounced dead while Lacruz was treated for his injuries and referred to the Georgetown Public Hospital.
