Police on Friday conducted a search on an abandoned lot at De Kinderen, West Coast Demerara, during which a quantity of ganja was unearthed. 
Police stated that during the search, one black plastic bag was found containing a quantity of cannabis. In addition, one transparent plastic bag that contained 28 small Ziplock bags with another set of cannabis was found.
The ganja was taken to the Leonora Police Station where it was weighed and amounted to 41 grams. No one was arrested as Police continue their investigations.
