Police seek public’s help to ID body found in Corentyne
The Guyana Police Force (GPF) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man whose body was discovered earlier this year at Belvedere Village, Corentyne. The discovery was made on January 27 prompting an investigation, however despite ongoing efforts, investigators have so far been unable to determine the identity of the deceased.
According to the information released by the GPF, the man is believed to be of East Indian descent. The body has since been transported and kept at the Ramoo’s Funeral Parlour, where is being kept as investigations continue in hopes of identifying him. The investigators of this case are urging anyone who may have information that could assist in identifying the deceased to come forward.
