Police on Monday discovered some 10.3 kilograms of cannabis at a house in Broad Street, Charlestown, following a tip-off.

According to the Police, ranks, acting on information received, conducted several raids in the Broad Street, Charlestown neighbourhood for illegal drugs and firearms.
During the exercise, which commenced at 16:30h and concluded at 17:45h, in excess of 10.3 kilograms of cannabis was found at separate locations.
A female has been taken into custody and is assisting with the investigation.
