Police Constable Jamal Whyte was on Friday arraigned before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan on a charge alleging that he had had sexual relations with a 15-year-old girl.
The court heard that in August 2017, at Roxanne Burnham Gardens in Georgetown, the 21-year-old cop had engaged in sexual activity with a female under the age of 16.
He was placed on bail in the sum of $250,000, and the case has been set to continue on January 30.
