A pork-knocker, who hails from Retrieve, Mackenzie, Linden, was on Tuesday remanded to prison by Magistrate Clive Nurse on an attempted murder charge.
Ernest Couchman, 60, who appeared at the Linden Magistrate’s Court, is accused of attempting to murder Victor Lustal. It is alleged that on August 31, 2015, at Co-op Crescent, Mackenzie, Linden, the defendant unlawfully and maliciously wounded the VC with intent to murder.
The Court heard that statements on the case were not ready to be presented. The defendant is scheduled to make his next court appearance on July 19.
