A Port Kaituma resident was on Tuesday made to answer to the Chief Magistrate, Ann McLennan for possession of narcotics.
Henry Conway pleaded not guilty to the charges when it was read to him at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.
The charges stated that on December 31, 2016 at Water Front, Port Kaituma, he had in his possession 20 grams of cannabis and on the same day, he was also found in possession of 3.820kg of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
The prosecution objected to bail and Conway, who is reportedly a vendor, was sent back to prison until February 7, 2017, when he would appear at the Matthews Ridge Magistrate’s Court.
