Powerful Georgetown squad named for inter association

A strong squad has been named to represent Georgetown in the Under-17 Inter Association Tournament which commences on Saturday.

The Georgetown side which may appear a bit intimidating to their opponents, include players with national youth experience of the likes of Ashmead Nedd, Sachin Singh, Alphius Bookie, wicket Keeper/batsman Yudister Persaud, all-rounder Dwayne Dick (off spinner), former West Indies Under-15 fast bowler and an obvious senior West Indian fast bowling prospect – Qumar Torrington, who has bowled has been bowling impressively throughout the 2016/2017 GCB/DMLAS/MOE/NSSCL.
The other players in the squad are fast bowler Dequan Bamfield, Juspice Jones and Wayne Bollers (right arm leg spinners), Adrian Hinds, Joel Spooner, Osapho Greene, Nkosi Beaton, Daniel Paul (National Under-15 fast bowler) and Dwayne Bollers ( Right arm leg spinner) Devon Allen and Ghamshan Premsham.

Ashmead Nedd

On Saturday 1 April, 2017, Georgetown will compete with East Bank Demerara at Everest Cricket Club Ground, while on Sunday 2 April, 2017, Georgetown will take on East Coast Demerara at Enmore Community Development Centre Ground.
All matches will be of One Day 50 Overs format, and will commence from 09:30h.
