The 16th edition of the P&P Insurance Brokers and Consultants Limited 11-race cycle programme will be staged on Saturday July 9 around the inner circuit of the National Park from 09:00hrs.
The 35-lap feature race is expected to see new challengers emerge in the wake of the absence of team Coco’s top riders (Raynauth Jeffrey, Hamza Eastman, Stephano Husbands and Jamal John) who will be returning to training and competing in Colombia.
Last year’s winner Paul DeNobrega will look to defend his title on the back of an impressive second place finish in Linden over the weekend. The usual challenge is expected to come from the likes of Marlon `Fishy’ Williams, Geron Williams, Michael Anthony, Orville Hinds, Raul Leal and Shaquel Agard.
The event is being organised by national cycle coach Hassan Mohamed and there will also be races for juveniles, veterans, BMX boys and girls, mountain bikers and upright cyclists.
Representatives of the P&P Insurance Brokers and Consultants Limited are expected to witness the races and assist with the presentation of prizes.
