PPP donates outboard engine to Region 2 office

People’s Progressive Party (PPP) General Secretary Clement Rohee handed over an outboard engine to the Party’s branch office at Anna Regina, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam).

The engine will boost the Party’s outreach activity, particularly in the riverine and hinterland areas.

At a simple handing-over ceremony, in the presence of Party members from the Regional Executive Committee, PPP Groups, Women’s Progressive Organisation (WPO) and Progressive Youth Organisation (PYO), Rohee encouraged Party members to maintain contact with groups, residents and the working class people of Region Two.

Accepting the donation was First Secretary of the PPP, Region Two, Humace Oodit, who expressed gratitude to the Party for the timely donation, which he said would help to enhance the Party’s grass roots work.

Party members from the Pomeroon who were present also expressed their appreciation for the donation.
