Twenty-three-year-old Kenesha Weeks of Lot 33 Durban Street, Georgetown appeared on Friday before Magistrate Leron Daly to answer a charge of unlawful assault.
The pregnant mother of one denied that on October 9, 2017, at Norton Street, Georgetown, she unlawfully assaulted Niota Eastman.
The facts of the matter were not revealed in court, but Attorney Paul Fung-a-Fat made a successful bail application for the defendant on ground that she is currently pregnant with her second child.
Bail was set at ,000, and Weeks is expected to make her next court appearance on October 23, 2017.
