Premiere Insurance sponsors DCB’s hosting of U15 Inter-Association tournament

The Demerara Cricket Board (DCB) has received sponsorship from Premiere Insurance Company to host the DCB/Premiere Insurance U15 Inter-Association tournament.
This sponsorship was handed over on Friday February 18 in a ceremony witnessed briefly by the following members of the DCB: Secretary Davteerth Anandjit, Assistant Secretary Ronald Williams, and Administrator Kavita Yadram.
CEO of Premiere Insurance Company, Anil Singh, handed over the cheque at the International Energy Conference and Exhibition 2022, held at the Guyana Marriott Hotel.
Premiere Insurance Inc, one of the newest companies in the insurance industry in Guyana, is already making a name for itself. This sponsorship is a positive intervention for Demerara youth cricket and its marketing unit.
Premiere Insurance CEO Anil Singh was high in praise of the DCB, and highlighted Premiere Insurance’s profound interest in collaborating on such a venture, which has immense potential to enhance the cricketing lives of those involved, the U15 players.
He indicated that the company is willing to invest through cricket sponsorship for youths, not only those in Demerara. He also said he is looking forward to a long and mutually rewarding relationship between DCB and Premiere Insurance.
On behalf of the DCB, both the Secretary and Assistant Secretary expressed heartfelt gratitude to Premiere Insurance for taking up the initiative of this sponsorship, and wished the company many successes in the future. They also said they are looking forward to sponsorship from Premiere Insurance in years to come.
This tournament will commence on Tuesday, February 22, and conclude on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Among the venues to be used in this tournament are Everest in Georgetown, Enmore on the East Coast, Farm Ground on the East Bank, and Meten-Meer-Zorg on the West Coast.
This tournament would be used to select the Demerara U-15 team to participate in the Guyana Cricket Board U-15 Inter-County tournament.

Upper Demerara Team:

East Bank Demerara Team:
