The call comes just ahead of the Golden Jaguars’ CONCACAF Gold Cup 2023 campaign next month and the Lady Jags’ participation in the W Gold Cup qualifiers set to begin this September.
President Ali wrote, “I am calling on Corporate Guyana to back our national footballers, both men and women, in their quest to bring glory to our country. I am confident in their ability and will spare no effort in giving them the best possible chance at being the best they can be. It is this shift from the unimaginable to the imaginable that needs us all to get on board. Let’s go, Golden Jaguars!!!”
The Golden Jaguars are set to commence their CONCACAF Gold Cup 2023 campaign, against Grenada on Saturday, June 17. Should the Golden Jaguars be successful in that encounter, they will progress to face Trinidad and Tobago or Guadeloupe for a chance to compete in Group D of the 2023 Gold Cup, which is set to kick off on June 25.

The winner of each League B group will progress to the preliminaries of the 2024 W Gold Cup set for February 17 to March 10, 2024.
