The curtains were pulled in breathtaking style on the President’s Third Futsal Championship on Friday evening as the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall erupted with excitement, passion and non-stop goals in a finale that will be remembered for years to come.


Fans were treated to a festival of futsal, highlighted by a goal-filled men’s final in which Road Warriors delivered a ruthless attacking display to defeat Bent Street A 13–6, crowning themselves champions and walking away with the $3 million top prize, while Bent Street A earned $1 million for their valiant run.
The Road Warriors’ offence was simply unstoppable. Erlison Cadete set the tone early with a seventh-minute strike and later added more authority to the scoreline, while Daniel Da Silva struck twice in quick succession in the 25th and 26th minutes.
Dionathas Pereira also bagged a brace, complemented by goals from Arckson, Wendrecky De Souza, and Wesley Ferreira, as the Road Warriors overwhelmed their opponents with pace and precision. Bent Street A fought bravely through goals from Colin Nelson and an own goal, but the champions proved too strong on the night.

Cadete capped off a memorable tournament by claiming the Best Goalkeeper award, while Road Warriors’ talisman Matheus Henrique was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Highest Goal Scorer (HGS) with an impressive 19 goals.
Earlier in the evening, the Male Third Place playoff provided drama of its own, as Sparta Boss edged Bomb Squad 5–4 in a thrilling encounter. Darron Niles led the charge with two goals, supported by strikes from Ryan Hackett and Omari Glasgow, earning Sparta $500,000, while Bomb Squad collected $250,000.
In the schoolboys’ showdown, Dolphin emerged champions after a pulsating 4–3 win over West Ruimveldt. Sean Grant starred with a decisive performance, later being named MVP, while Mustapha of Dolphin secured the Best Goalkeeper award.

West Ruimveldt’s Jeremiah Griffith, however, stole individual headlines as the highest goal scorer with a remarkable 27 goals for the tournament. Dolphin claimed $750,000, with West Ruimveldt earning $350,000.
The Schoolboys’ Third place match showcased attacking brilliance, as New Central High defeated Westminster 6–3. Danger’s Michael and Trevor Gordon dominated the scoresheet, with Gordon netting a hat-trick. New Central High earned $250,000 in kind, while Westminster received $150,000, both redeemable at MVP Sport.

In the women’s division, Lady Kainaimas asserted their dominance in the Women’s Final, brushing aside Lady Royals 4–0 behind a scintillating performance from Glengie Lewis, who scored twice and was later named MVP and Highest Goal Scorer with nine goals.
Christine Henrito was recognised as Best Goalkeeper, as Lady Kainaimas secured $500,000, with Lady Royals earning $300,000.

The Female Third Place playoff saw Westside Ballers defeat Street Vybes 2–1, thanks to goals from Akeelah Vancooten and Shontel Greene, earning $200,000, while Street Vybes walked away with $100,000.
As the final whistle sounded, the President’s Third Futsal Championship once again proved its status as one of the country’s premier sporting events – uniting schools, communities and clubs in a celebration of skill, sportsmanship and electrifying futsal action.
