“What we are doing now is giving out prizes to the teams that emerge at the top of the pile, so we have winners and those at the top of the pile. We had good weather over the past three days; we had no complaints and we look forward to the same in the next edition of the tournament come 2022,” Phillips said.
He further related that he was extremely grateful to the players and teams who conducted themselves with discipline throughout the entire tournament. Phillips also praised the organisers and management for putting together such an exciting tournament, as well as the sponsors, and was optimistic that they would come on board in the 2022 edition.
The winners of the tournament were Regal Legends (O-50), Fisherman Masters (O-45) and Ariel All-Stars (Open). The Man-of-the-Series Award for the open category went to Quintin Sampson of Ariel for his 231 runs and eight wickets. While in the masters’ category, Keith Fraser was deemed the MVP.
