Private plane damaged during takeoff at Kamarang

A privately owned Cessna 206 aircraft was damaged during takeoff from Kamarang, Region Seven (Cuyuni-Mazaruni).
On Thursday evening, the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) said it received a report that at about 17:20h on Thursday, a privately operated CESSNA 206 aircraft encountered a propeller strike during takeoff at Kamarang airstrip.
According to the GCAA, the aircraft has been substantially damaged, but no injuries have been reported.
“The GCAA’s inspectors will conduct an investigation into this accident,” the GCAA has said.
