Home News Providence collision leaves 1 injured
An accident on the Providence Public Road, on the East Bank of Demerara has resulted in one man being rushed to hospital. The collision occurred between the motorcar driven by the injured man – bearing registration plates PMM5815 – and a truck, bearing registration plates GNN 3531, on Wednesday in the vicinity of the GuyOil Gas Station.
Reports are that the motorcar was en route to Georgetown and the truck was heading in the opposite direction. According to information received, the motorcar was damaged to the rightrear-end and the front bumper was completed ripped off the car.
Investigations into this latest accident have been launched.
In early September, 51-year-old Dhanraj Datturam lost his life as a result of a two-lorry smash-up, also on the Providence Public Road.
