Pulsating go-kart action returns tonight at GT Motorsports

Despite the gloomy weather, racing heat is expected to reign when the GT Motorsports’ Endurance Rental returns to the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club at Albert and Thomas Street.
The monthly event which was paused since March returns with the addition of a 10-lap All Girls event. The first race is set for 19:00 hrs.

Local speedsters will resume their intense rivalry this evening at the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club

The Endurance races, which cater for teams of three competing in the 500lb and 600lb classes, have been reduced to 45 minutes each, down 15 minutes from the one hour of racing during the previous three events.
Each member has a maximum of 15 minutes on the track. The team with the most number of laps at the conclusion of 45 minutes will be declared champion.
At the last event, Team Nexus made a clean sweep of both the 500lb and 600lb classes. The 500lb drivers were Brian Tenpow, Gregory Mohamed and Carlos Rodrigues, while the 600lb drivers were Rodrigues, Steven Nobrega and Matthew Phang. Tenpow and Phang had the fastest lap times in their respective categories.
The Endurance Rental Cup is sponsored by Secure Innovations and Concepts, Auto Fashion, Monster Energy Drink and Karcher, and organised by GT Motorsports. Admission to the venue is free.
