Pupils spread love by releasing balloons

In light of the Valentine season, Police ranks attached to the E Division (Linden-Kwakwani) headquarters on Friday met with pupils of the Wisroc Nursery School in Linden for a symbolic gesture of love by releasing red and white balloons into the air.
The initiative was conducted under the theme and hashtag #releasingthelove.
Divisional Commander and Senior Superintendent, Linden Lord along with Inspector Colette Evans, Sergeant Barkoye and other ranks, visited the school where they met and interacted with the teachers and students.
Lord noted that it was a pleasure interacting with the students and teachers, adding that it was part of the Force’s mandate to continue to enhance community relations.
“The greatest gifts you can give your children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence,” he noted.
